Footsteps

To ponder with greatness is to lift the spirit.

To build, to erect thyself in thine own eyes.

For without we are not.

To walk in the footsteps is only to follow.

To wander a stray might bring dismay.

But to chance a moment in time.

In exchange for the possibility of failure in a day.

Poses as such a minuet risk.

For the reward, the gift at stake hath such an astronomical value.

The chance becomes worthy of the risk.

For the value at hand determines the value of the man.

To achieve, to struggle, to fight, to win.

Begins a journey never forgotten, never erased,

And never will go untold.

For to ponder with greatness will lift the spirit.

It will mold, it will create, new footsteps.
