Once Again

I hear the ringing once again.

A quivering voice on the other end.

I say are you ok, she's my friend.

He did it once again.

The signs are color on her skin.

But she'll hide them with her makeup once again.

Once again.

My minds a blur why you stay.

It doesn't have to be this way.

I don't know where I'll go or how I'll make it through.

The snow and the rain on my own.

On my own is where I'll be.

It doesn't happen frequently.

It's not this bad all the time.

And all alone is where I'll be.

I know I wont' get custody.

I'll just bare the storm once again.

Another spirit slowly dies.

There's no longer passion in her eyes.

I hear the ringing once again, it's not my friend.

Daddy's got a gun.
