Took A Bad Turn

The canyon walls come to life as the sun's settin in her eyes and a cold wind blows.
I been drivin two days and half a night, tryin to make it to a compass on time.
And wrap her away in my arms.
But it's lookin kind of gloomy and I made a mistake.
Took a bad turn.

I gave a clock on a wall and it seems like I'm fallin, every minute, every hour, everyday.
And a minute makes an hour seem as time has the power, oh and by the way.
I cried and I cried, oh I cried.
I took a bad turn

I been drivin for days and all through the nights, tryin to make it to a compass on time.
But I took a bad turn.
I wish I could fly like a crow on a line, tryin to make it to a compass on time.
But I took a bad turn.
And in a strange kind of way I lost my mind, tryin to make it to a compass on time.
And wrap her away in my arms.
But it's lookin kind of gloomy and I made a mistake.
Took a bad turn.
.
I took a bad turn.
Took a bad turn.
I took a bad turn
